Take your personal book favorites reading bracket up a notch. One fun way to engage your reading friends is by creating a book club reading challenge where members compare their favorite books and vote on top picks. This activity is customized to your club members and their reading selections for the year.
Monthly Book Club Favorites
Double Booked book club was initially established as a social book club for my fellow teachers. The format for our club was flexible, we simply started a social media group and posted our reading selections each month. Some DB members already belonged to groups that had a specific book they read together for discussion.
Instead of sticking to just one book each month, this challenge allows members to read what they love—while still participating in a shared group experience through voting and friendly competition.
Double Booked was our way to share ANY book that we enjoyed. No pressure. No required reading. Just book love.

2. Collect Book Titles for Voting
At the end of each month, members submit their top five reads from that month. Some readers may only submit their top 3, and that’s ok.

Select COPY to create a version that you can edit with your book club’s nominees.
For future months, delete previous book titles to reuse the form or make another copy.
Once the responses are collected, the book title with the most votes is your winner for the month.
