Event Planning Resources: Downloads & Printables to Save You Time
This resource page is designed to share practical tools you can use in your own party and event planning. Whether you’re organizing a book club, trivia night, birthday celebration, or themed gathering, these resources can help simplify the process and save valuable time.

The terms “downloads” and “printables” often overlap. However, I use them slightly different throughout this site.
For example, you’ll find templates or digital documents that you can customize for your event or used exactly as provided. The general format may be MS or Google documents, which can be converted to each other’s format, if you have a preference.
After all, one of the easiest ways to reduce planning stress is to avoid reinventing the wheel! That’s why I’m happy to share resources I’ve found and ones I’ve created to save you time, money and effort.
These may include:
- Microsoft Word documents
- Google Docs
- Google Sheets
- Excel spreadsheets
- Editable templates
On the other hand, printables are typically PDF files designed for clean formatting and easy printing. As a result, I create many of my designs using different programs and font styles, and the PDF format allows me to preserve:
- “Design integrity”
- “Font styling”
- “Layout consistency”
Additionally, some PDF software allows light editing if needed.
Printables are ideal for:
